This is a beautiful area with lots of streams. Be prepared to hike a little to get up and down the stream. We had such a great time. We are all about having a great experience and Richard really provided a great service to us.

As a first time angler, the only thing that I regret not doing was asking the captain to show me how to cast the line and/or allow me to bait the hook myself. Otherwise, there's really nothing more to prepare for other than a great time.

With school back in session early in August, Ellijay and surrounding areas are much quieter than we had expected. Shopping, dining and fishing have been calm and relaxing. On the lake, we were one of only a couple boats out there and it was soooo calm and beautiful!!

Do be prepared, in this type of heat the fish will tend not to bite as frequently or at all, it’s tough finding them and even harder to get them to bite!

Excellent guide, immediately put us on fish and we filled a cooler with Striper, Spotted bass and largemouth bass in short order. Caught so many fish we had to start putting them back.

Had a great time out on the lake with these guys. They are very nice and friendly and easy to get along with. Offered us drinks and snacks the whole time which was awesome and most importantly put us on the fish! Caught about ten fish between the two of us plenty of spotted bass and a pb striped bass would defiantly recommend and do again

Capt. Len is a very calm, pleasant person and we enjoyed our trip with him. His boat and equipment are well maintained, and he tried his best to put us on several fish we enjoyed catching and releasing. He is also very easy to talk with, and we learned a lot about life in Georgia. We will definitely go fishing with Capt. Len again when we return to Georgia.

What a great experience!!! We had such an incredible morning and had so much fun that we lost track of the amount of fish we caught! My husband was able to catch a 27lb Striper and my daughter caught multiple species of bass and landed a pretty big catfish. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who loves to fish! Smiles all day and memories that will last forever! A hugh thank you to Captain Michael!

We love to fish and have for raised our kiddos and grandkiddos doing lots of fishing, but from the shore. We wanted to spend a day fishing from a boat as our oldest grandson will be leaving for the Air Force soon and we wanted to check out our luck on a boat for a day. We didn't had the best weather conditions for trout fishing but with the guidance of Zach we (me and my 8 year old son) still caught 32 fish together on a full day float trip! Most of them were trout!
