Ocean Isle Beach King Mackerel (Kingfish) Fishing Charters

Join Captain Harvey for an action-packed 4-hour nearshore fishing adventure as we fish 1–10 miles offshore around reefs and shipwrecks. Depending on the bite, we'll target King & Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Bonito, Sea Bass, Snapper, Grouper, and more. If sea conditions don't cooperate, we'll adjust the plan and fish closer to shore. This 4-hour trip is all about catching a variety of species: Shark, Seabass, King and Spanish Mackerel, and Barracuda are all on the menu. All required equipment is provided by the charter. This 4-hour trip will be You'll be targeting fun catches such as Kingfish, Shark, Sea Bass, Spanish Mackerel, and even some Barracuda!

This trip typically ranges out to 35 miles offshore. The total fishing time is roughly 5 ½ hours, not much more than the 3/4 day offshore trip, but you will be fishing grounds that are much more productive. The trip usually includes an option of live bait and slow trolling to target top-water trophy game fish or bottom fishing to target great-eating bottomfish. The species you will target include King Mackerel, Barracuda, Cobia, Amberjack, Snapper, Grouper, and Sea Bass.

Our 8-hour trip is great for beginners and avid fishermen alike. We have many options to choose from. We can begin the trip live baiting for Amberjack on the wrecks, or we can troll for Bonito, Amberjack, Barracuda, and King Mackerel, and we can Shark fish. We also have the option of bottom fishing for other species like Black Seabass, Grouper, Snapper, and other bottom dwellers. We can do a mixture of all so you can get the full experience on this 8-hour trip. Seasonal.

Half day charters are perfect for backwater fishing in the Ocean isle beach. This gives you enough time to find fish and enjoy the beach's backwater. The trip is great for getting back to the dock after fishing and you are able to enjoy the rest of your day on the beach with family and friends!

On the 4-hour nearshore trip, we will be fishing within sight of land in the ocean off of Brunswick County. We'll target species such as King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Black Sea Bass, and numerous species of Sharks. Join us for a fun time on these waters!

The 6-hour trip gives you more fishing time compared to the 4-hour. This a great trip for someone who is still learning their way around a fishing boat and wants to go a little deeper into the fishing grounds!

During this trip you will be fishing for a variety of targeted species. These include but are not limited to Red Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Black Seabass, King Mackerel and even Sharks. Typical trips are within 5 miles of shore. Enjoy bottom fishing or trolling. The choice of which one is typically based upon weather and influences what you may need to target for that day. This trip will stay within about 10 miles of the shoreline. We will troll for Spanish Mackerel and King Mackerel. Depending on the weather, we can bottom fish at nearby reefs and wrecks for a variety of species.
