Virginia Redfish Fishing Charters

This personalized trip will see you spend the whole working day going after whatever fish you want. The captain recommends mixing it up a bit and targeting a range of species, but Cobia and Flounder remain the most popular targets in these rich waters. Get ready to sight fish for Cobia and bottom fish for Flounder as you look to fill the boat with these delicious creatures and head home with a worthy reward after a long day at sea.

On this 8-hour trip you will have the opportunity to target all the Rockfish you could hope for.

This is our most popular charter and will allow you to target multiple species in the Chesapeake Bay. How you spend your day is up to you. For example, start off with light tackle fishing for Spadefish, Tautog sheepshead, flounder, Spanish mackerel. Then move on to sight-fishing or chumming for larger species such as Cobia (June-September), Red Drum. Departure time depends on season and targeted species First mate works for tips, 20% is customary. We prefer Cash, but will accept Venmo or Zelle, Cash APP.

On these trips, you cover a lot of water and have the opportunity to target multiple fish species and be the most productive! An 8-hour trip gives you the chance to explore a range of different fishing grounds in and near the Chesapeake Bay. Head up to 45 minutes offshore and battle it out with monster Cobia and fish the shallow waters nearshore waters to fill the boat with plenty of delicious creatures to take home for a well-deserved dinner. Bottom fish to entice the bite of Flounder, Drum, Spadefish, and many more, before using all your skills to keep them on the line and hooking 'em aboard.

Experience everything that Chesapeake Bay has to offer on this full day adventure! You'll have plenty of time to cruise these waters for some world-famous fish, including Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Spadefish, Flounder, Striped Bass, and Tautog. The species you'll be targeting may vary slightly depending on when you visit. Your captain will provide all the gear you need for a productive day on the water, including rods, reels, and a valid fishing license, so just bring along drinks, snacks, and tip money.

A full day trip has plenty of time to set out and achieve the goals set. The 8 hour experience is enough time to catch many different species of fish the Chesapeake Bay has to offer. You will be accompanied by not only your Captain Jeff Brooks, but also his knowledgeable mate that works for 20% gratuity.

Full day (8+ hours) on the Chesapeake Bay targeting a variety of Cobia, Drum, Flounder, Spadefish, Sheepshead, Tautog, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, and bottom fishing (Croaker, Spot, Mullet, Bluefish). Most of these trips will involve a variety of Chumming, Sight fishing, and Structure fishing, unless one method is preferred over another. I am there to guide you on what I feel is most productive, however, you book the boat and have control over how you fish!
