The boat is a little more rough than larger boats but well equipped to handle the open sea. The crew was very good.

Definitely more time gives you more chances to get on fish. Also, you will get a great workout from just one or two big fish.:)

I just wish there were more options to have the fish prepared after the trip is over, I like being able to eat my catch.

Check fish available to catch during your stay. Weather they get seasick easily or not. Seas can be rough and even with sea sick medication you can get sick.

If you are looking for a great trip and catch fish this is the boat. If you want luxury with A/C and all the other amenities this is not your boat

We all took less drowsy Dramamine before hand and none of us got sea sick, definitely be prepared for larger waves

This was our first time fishing in Cancun. Captain Hector and the crew took great care of us and made it seem like we’ve fished here for years.

It’s fishing, nothing is guaranteed, go often if you hope to catch trophies. But these captains and crews will put you on what’s biting,

Sunscreen (lotion not spray) for the top of your feet, nose and face, motion sickness pills (I know I need them), sunglasses and patience. It’s called fishing not catching for a reason

The water in the gulf has been very rough this week and there have been storms so that kept us from catching lots more. We still caught 4 and had an amazing time!

No, this is a trip for tourists who want a picture with a fish, not a trip for anyone who wants to actually fish.

Morning trips have better odds at catching fish, and you should book 6 hours or more if you're targeting marlin and sail fish.

Be prepared to fish like you never have before. I still can't believe the size an quantity of fish we brought in.

My 8 and 10 year old girls got a little bit sea sick, but my 4 years old did well. Make sure you prepare for that

Be patient and let the crew do their job getting you on fish. Took us quite a while but once the caption put us on fish it was a steady bite!

Seas are pretty rough in February. Recommend you take Dramamine. If you want to catch some fish for dinner, make sure the captain stops at a reef for snapper, grouper, etc.

Wasn’t really sure if we’d catch much being out of the better season for fishing. Was quite surprised to catch so many today. A variety of fish reeled-in in a 6 hour trip.

Yes. We let Captain recommend what to chase. We just wanted to catch fish. He kept us on big Amberjacks. Caught more than 2 an hour with 2 fisherman. Great trip.

Fishing isn't always catching but I appreciate a crew that works very hard. We had a great haul but even if we hadn't I'd have been pleased with the effort.

Beach fishing is almost out of the question, deep sea is a lot of trolling and hit or miss the lagoon is the place to get on the water

Fishing does not equal catching. You can expect wind in January and that can make the conditions tough. Even the deep sea charters were forced in to fish nearshore species.

Book an inland fishing trip until you get here and see the weather before booking a deep sea trip. Found out the hard way

Fishing is always good but you have to make your own catch report . Put the time in casting while your on the boat you can't catch fish if your not casting your line

Check the wind report before you go out. Wind = rough seas that make it uncomfortable and difficult to fish.

The barracuda were a good fight, make for a great photo with the sharp teeth, and were surprisingly great to eat (light white meat like snapper).
