What would you recommend to anglers fishing in St. Petersburg, Florida for the first time?

keep in mind that the number and size of the fish available are reduced because of the red tide of 2018, especially the in-shore fish like snapper, sea bass, snook etc. still very much fun

Weather in March can be a little chilly on the open water, but really warm by the mangroves so definitely dress in layers. Book it...it's worth every penny!

We did good but could have been better with cooler water but that’s fishing in July in Florida.

Summer is hot and humid, be prepared with lots of sunscreen, UV protective t-shirt and hat.

If you come in July have extra sunscreen and long sleeve fishing shirts are a must.

Be understanding of the possession limits for the area only allowed two redfish per boat
