What would you recommend to anglers fishing in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the first time?

Be sure if you chartered that it hadn’t rained hard the prior day or two. Clouds up the water and makes it difficult to catch anything. Other than that had a great time, great crew and great boat!!

The captain can and will make a custom trip for what you wanna do just communicate what you wanna target ?

Make sure you take Dramamine if you get seasick easily and if it’s a long trip make sure the boat has bathroom.

We weren't looking for anything in particular, just to catch some fish. We allowed the crew to do their thing and put us on the fish, and couldn't be happier with the experience.

Be flexible and plan to be in town for a few days. The weather can change and you do not want to go out in high seas.

To use this charter. The crew were terrific. It was a great time and I’ll drive ten hours again to go out with these guys.

Dress in Layers, Hat, Gloves, covered water shoes with socks, back up rain gear if choppy. Bring some hot hands and a thermos of hot water. Some smiles and laughs and positive attitude!

Not as crowded which we like. Also I imagine the 60-65 degree weather is much more fun than summertime heat. Just a feeling

We caught a lot of fish, and they were a lot of fun to reel in. The weather was perfect, and the temperature was in the mid '70s. I highly recommend flying fish charters.

I would have your captain take you from the back waters barely out into the ocean near the shoals to catch some blue and redfish. Just enjoy the ride if not anything else.

First timers needs to realize that the crew can’t make the fish bite. You’re going to have good days and bad days.

Great weather and water conditions...Fish were tough to catch but plentiful...Docks were easy to access, clean and safe...

Great fishing in August, 80 degree weather, water not to choppy and we caught more than what we expected!

Bring or take Dramamine before you go. If your not a seasoned boater then do your research to insure you have a great time. Wear shoes that have a good grip for wet decks on the boat.

Go to catch fish. Any kind is great! Enjoy the ride on the waters. Be amazed by the different sea life that is there.

The charter I took id recommend to anyone . Captain put us onto a big 8 ft tiger shark and it was like catching nothing else . Heck of a fight .

Be ready to be in the sun and be prepared for motion sickness just in case and always try to have a good time

If it’s your first time fishing in the area I recommend this charter. Iv booked with them multiple times and enjoyed it everytime.

Recommend going out in the morning and fishing the backwater if you want to catch dinner for the family/gang. We were NOT disappointed!

The boat ride thru the inter-coastal Little River area is beautiful! Lots of fish and I recommend to bring plenty of water and sunscreen.

If booking in spring/early summer, no one can predict what weather and water conditions will be throughout the day. That being said, trust your captain and be kind if conditions turn unfavorable.

Book with Captain Brad, and plan for at least a 10 hour trip. It is just the right amount of actual fishing. Long ride out, but totally worth it.

Just wish we would’ve caught more fish and larger fish, but we had a great time and warm weather! Lots of great scenery and fun conversations! Capt. Rich was very knowledgeable!

Come prepared with drinks and light foods to snack on, but most importantly, leave the expectations home and just enjoy the moment!

I'd recommend not doing the near shore fishing trips, the fish just aren't big enough. Although it takes more time to get further out from shore, I think it's the better option.

We booked our charter fishing trip a few weeks prior to visiting South Carolina. Our charter captain, crew and boat were great and provided us with a very positive fishing experience.

Just be prepared & make sure you take or have anti- nausea meds. A lot of people can get motion sickness quickly.
