What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina for the first time?

Book a charter. They know where the fish are and how to catch them. Do your homework and make sure the captain is licensed and boat is safe.

Make sure you know where the charter is located. The marsh walk is not clearly labeled. Boats are behind the restaurants.

The weather plays a big part in any fishing trip. Crazy Girl Charters is a great trip for first timers. Fishing in the creeks etc. Is easy when the ocean is rough.

Book with catch 1 sport fishing. This experience was not what we was expecting it was a lot better.

Like anywhere the Captain puts you on the fish but sometimes they just don't bite
