What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina for the first time?

hopefully you know someone who has been out on the excursions b4 so they can tell you which is the best boat to put you onto a catch.

Good fishing, just be prepared for a long run if you're trying to get to deep water, but there is lots of good inshore fishing.

I would highly recommend! We had a little SNAFU but it all worked out for the best! Have no fear booking with them.

Morning trips are definitely a much better choice to avoid storms. We enjoyed every minute of this trip.

If there have been multiple days of hot, clear skies, fishing maybe less productive than anticipated.

Was a slow day in the inlet we had to go out ten mile to land keeper flounder. Captain Tommy put us on the bite.

Make sure you go with a good guide like ours. You definitely want someone that knows the water well and knows where to be to stay away from the boat rraffic.

Sign up for the longest trip you can afford. We did a 4 hour trip and would have loved an all day trip. So much fun

Murrells inlet is beautiful! It is very hot this time of year, but being on a boat with a breeze and the water to spritz off makes it bearable.

Great atmosphere, scenery is beautiful. Multiple species of fish in a variety of different settings. Great place to fish whether you are a seasoned veteran or just a beginner.

I wish we had known to book a morning charter for better luck, but we still loved it. It was our first time.

Captains were reporting it was a tough day on the water, but we caught about a dozen fish, so was pretty good for us.

Try not to set your heart on one type of fish. The bite changes daily and you never know what to expect on the other end of your line.

There's fish to be caught! If you're interested in specific species contact your Capt prior to booking to know if they are active. I like fishing and catching is fun too.

Try a different area. This is the second charter out of Murrells inlet that felt like a tourist trap

Murrells Inlet was a beautiful little ocean town hidden away from busy Myrtle Beach. I wish we had more time to spend there.

December is supposed to be a good month but we hit it at a time of big weather temperature swings. You just never know. This would not keep us from trying it again with Capt Perrin

As someone who isn’t much of a fisherman, I was nervous about being on the water and not knowing what to do. Captain Jimmy was first rate and made our experience a day to remember.

Be ready to dress in layers. It was cold, but we were prepared with lots of layers, hats, gloves and blankets for the kids. Still a great experience and lots of fish.
