Murrells is beautiful. Wasn’t there for meat. Simpler there for a peaceful fun trip.

Jacob Courter
Weather could be a factor. Captain Jack and Ron know the back waters well. They will put you on fish,

Thomas Bablick
Murrells Inlet was a beautiful little ocean town hidden away from busy Myrtle Beach. I wish we had more time to spend there.

Gregg Janshego
December is supposed to be a good month but we hit it at a time of big weather temperature swings. You just never know. This would not keep us from trying it again with Capt Perrin

Stephen Bair
Trust the Captains to know what’s where when, and plan around optimum seasons if you’re going after something in particular

Kevin Moore
As someone who isn’t much of a fisherman, I was nervous about being on the water and not knowing what to do. Captain Jimmy was first rate and made our experience a day to remember.

Angie Greving
Be ready to dress in layers. It was cold, but we were prepared with lots of layers, hats, gloves and blankets for the kids. Still a great experience and lots of fish.

Larry Crum
Just enjoy the captain will put you on fish. On our trip we had a very windy day but the captain found places out of the wind the best he could and we caught some fish

Rich Brown
Go with Ryan Isabell and he will set you on fish. October is Chilly in the am but warms up be 10 or so. Redfish run good this time of year

Johnny Dixon
If you want to catch fish and do it with a professional, these guys are the best. They will put you on the fish!

Jared Dill
If you’ve never deep sea fished before, get the patch’s that go behind your ear for sea sickness if you’re not sure if you can handle the ride.
They work

Michele Sweeley
Listen to the crew and be patient. They will definitely put you in a place where you can catch fish.

Mario Gomez
Good trip for my 5year old grandson's first boat ride and fishing experience. Somewhat disappointed at the overall catch for all passengers-marketed as a shark fishing with only 2 small ones caught.

Jodi Amoroso
Absolutely! We three novices were made fisherman by Captsin Robert, and Joe,
caught fish and had fun.

Water Temps matter a lot
Just because a certain species has been hitting is no guarantee that the day you go that's what will be caught.
Every day is its own adventure.

Jake Bench
Come ready and prepared to stay hydrated…..you’ll need all the energy you can muster to keep those reels winding!

Byron Toler
Book a trip with black diamond inlet backwater fishing , Capt. Jack is the man , we catch fish every time

Carol Bennett
Bring sunscreen! Sunglasses and hats and water. SC is a tropical climate, and if you aren't used to it, the sun and heat could sneak up on you. Plan ahead to enjoy your day.

Savanna Spoelman
Take motion sickness medicine, drink lots of water and apply sunscreen and wear a hat with a fishing shirt if possible!

John Moloko
We actually met the captain elsewhere to allow more time fishing and less time trying to beat the tides.

August is a tough month for inshore fishing. The heat and sun can be brutal. The bite can be tough. I prefer to go offshore. FWIW, this trip should be called Georgetown fishing.

Natalie Balega
Bring a cooler with drinks and snacks. There's no bathroom on the boat so a shorter trip would be better for people with smaller kids.

Craig Lustig
Just come with a positive attitude and listen to the guidance from the crew. They will put fish in the boat

Joshua Golla
Book with a guide, even if it is just to learn how to navigate the inlets and find fish. Their input is well worth the $.

Argil Radcliff
It is fishing not catching. The tides and temperature really effect how the fish bite. Don't expect every cast to land a record fish.

Michael Salcido
For the shark trip. Expect smaller fish. Only about 40 ft. I am told the full day trip would be better for trying to get deeper and catch bigger fish.

David Richey
To be fair there were storms south of where we were that made the seas a little rough. So can't give an accurate evaluation.

Brant Anderson
It started getting hot later in the morning. I am sure that fall or spring fishing would yield more fish

Julie Payne
Be prepared for rain! Other than that great trip! Everything is provided and the captain was well informed and prepared

Soncereri Nutz
The weather is what it is at any time of year, but a bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work!
