Texas Redfish Fishing Charters

On this trip, you'll target Bass and Redfish. All rods and reels are included in the price of the trip. Don't forget that everyone over 17 needs to buys a fishing license for the day. Kids over 4 are welcome on board and life vests are provided. NOTE: A fishing trip is 4 hours long unless we catch your limit first, which is 3 fish per person, whether it's catch and release, or possession.

Spend these 4 hours in the morning fishing for Texas inshore species. The captain has a cooler on the boat for drinks and snacks that you bring. Kids age 5 and above are welcome and life vests for them are provided. Please check with the captain if there is an extra fuel surcharge for offshore trips. Live bait up to 2 quarts of shrimp is included.

A great chance to catch a variety of fish for eating and fighting. The possibilities are wide with the hope of catching Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, Croaker, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, and Stingrays. Includes: Bait and tackle; safety gear; ice cold water; toilet; and cleaning your catch. Each person over 17 that will fish needs a Texas salt water fishing license with Red Drum tag. (Youth may want a Red Drum tag.) Feel free to bring snacks and beverages (no glass please).

A full day of fishing will last 6-7 hours. Most of my charters will meet me roughly an hour before sunrise. We will arrive at the fishing grounds at first sunlight, allowing you to see a beautiful sunrise on the water and generally fish bite the best at first light in the morning. We will start our morning focusing on Speckled Trout, followed by red fish and black drum. When we arrive back at the marina, I will hang your Catch of the day for a group photo, then your fish will be fillet and bagged for you.

I will be fishin inshore in the Laguna Madre Bay near South Padre Island. $300 minimum up to 2 person group. $375 for 3 people group. $425 for a 4 person group. $800 for an 8 hour trip 2 person.

Max boat capacity for a trip is 6 guests. This allowing however, only 4-5 ppl to fish at one given time. Please discuss this with the Captain on your initial convo. Matagorda Bay system is unique in that it offers an array of fishing styles and areas. Live bait & artificial lures are both successful approaches. Take comfort in your captain's many years of fishing experience, and the wisdom passed down from 3 generations of Texas fishing guides, to lead you in the right direction with the given conditions.

A half day of fishing (4hrs) in the bay or at the Galveston jetties. You can expect to catch a wide variety of fish including trout, red fish, flounder, drum, sheepshead and many more inshore fish.

State line Jetties are just a short boat ride with great potential to fill your ice chest with multiple difference species in a short time. For this trip we will target red fish, speckled trout, or sheepshead among others. Ask about out Catch Clean and Cook!

Late February through March, we target large Black Drum (catch and release). These fish make for great photos and even better stories. We'll also fish for Redfish, Speckled Trout, and more, depending on conditions.
