What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Key West, Florida for the first time?

September is not the best time to fish for large game day in the keys but with the right few can still find some fish

Be prepared for the heat. Ice cold water and sports drinks are a must. A boat that can provide some shade is helpful as well.

It was great. A little hot on a sunny day, but the boat has some shade inside when needed. We had to move a few times, but I think everyone was pretty happy.

Do not eat before the trip. Wear sunblock, sunglasses, and long sleeve fishing shirts. Bring towels to lay on in case a passenger feels sick.

Water is provided. But if you want snacks or drinks besides water, bring your own. Also, go to the restroom before you leave.
