What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Corpus Christi, Texas for the first time?

If you are looking for a great experience fishing whether you have been fishing or not this is definitely the place to go!

Weather in Corpus can be an issue, but that's true anywhere . We did well in late March fishing in Baffin Bay

Yes, just ensure you bring a jacket. There was a few showers that didn’t hit us, but you could have one come over you for a few minutes.

I recommend making sure you know the weather because high 80’s and muggy weather can be tough on the body. Make sure you have the appropriate clothes and plenty of water.

We love fishing, and this was our first on-the-water fishing trip. We usually love fishing from the shore in August when fish movement starts changing up due to changing weather patterns.

Wear long sleeve fishing shirts, sun glasses, sun screen, drink plenty of water, catch what ever is biting, and enjoy the entire process of fishing.

Corpus is a prime destination for fishing in Texas. 5 hour trips are good in the Summer because it can get hot.
