Only thing you need to bring is camera or cell phone to take lots of pics of your catch. Everything else provided for you, also be sure to have your Texas fishing license before your trip.

Ryan was one of those captains that loves to fish, he kept on fish the whole 6 hours helped everyone on board casting and netting for us, very good captain

Get out early, know your fishing holes and the hazards around them. Using a cast net ensures you get the bait that the fish are naturally eating in the area and that they are fresh.

October is an excellent time to fish in CC. The weather is great (usually) & it’s not as crowded as summer months

Joseph Serna
If you want to have have a blast and catch fish, book a trip with McCain's Shallow Water Experience, Ryan is the best

Jonathon Weaver
September, while the start of fall, will still be quite hot in South Texas -- treat it as you would any summer fishing outing.

Ryan Inbody
Yes, just ensure you bring a jacket. There was a few showers that didn’t hit us, but you could have one come over you for a few minutes.

Caleb Zubia
I recommend making sure you know the weather because high 80’s and muggy weather can be tough on the body. Make sure you have the appropriate clothes and plenty of water.

Andrew Dalleluche
I can't explain how much fun we had. The fish wouldn't stop biting. It was a great time and that's what we wanted

Jason Page
We love fishing, and this was our first on-the-water fishing trip. We usually love fishing from the shore in August when fish movement starts changing up due to changing weather patterns.

Justin Warren
Wear long sleeve fishing shirts, sun glasses, sun screen, drink plenty of water, catch what ever is biting, and enjoy the entire process of fishing.

We fished a couple of weeks post hurricane & lots of rain so I’m guessing it’s usually better than what we experienced but it was not bad.

Jim Ward
If you like fishing would recommend the 6 hour trip. Three hours to me would be to short. Just saying!

The summer is a great time to spend a day on the beach fishing with Shark Brah’s. Book your trip today.

Tina Musso
Get an experienced captain who knows the bay. We caught fish everywhere we stopped. The trip was relaxing and fun.

Jim Lane
Well we caught speckled trout. That seemed boring in the beginning but they gave a good fight and it was a ton of fun. Caught about 30 fish in about 5 hours with Capt. Alex. He’s a great guide.

Clint Lee
Do it! When do you ever get to fish for sharks? Fishing from the beach is more fun than a boat & your kids won’t get motion sickness!

Lance Lewandowski
Corpus is a prime destination for fishing in Texas. 5 hour trips are good in the Summer because it can get hot.

Roy Bentley
Definitely book with Zander Ray (Alexander). Professional, knowledgeable and definitely a people person. We will book solely with Alexander when visiting Corpus Christi

Timothy Hunt
Great time and caught plenty of fish! I should have booked the whole day instead of half but still slammed a bunch of fish!

Best saltwater experience and make sure you have your saltwater fishing license either for the day or year. Won't regret.

Meagan Shadfan
Weather fluctuates so much. We picked a bad weekend in terms of the weather. I might wait until things settle if you’re looking to catch a lot

Richard Rhoades
Many overpriced inexperienced masquerading as top notch guides. Spend some time at the marinas if you can before you book.

Curtis Roberts
Captain Cody was very personable and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful first time. We will definitely call Cody again.

Dave Shorten
Have fun with your Captain and crew, and treat them with respect. They will certainly treat you with respect.

Michael Gaffney
If this is your first time. Do not waste your money trying on your own. The shore and piers really do not offer what you are looking for. Spend the money for an incredible adventure!

I think we caught a good amount of fish given that we fished using a new technique, and that there was a full moon the night before our charter.

Call Cpt Jason Thornton! Mornings are a bit busy but the afternoon was perfect! It was a windy day but the fish were biting. Bring extra water to drink and sun screen!

Make sure the captain can find live shrimp if not I would cancel trip and loose $90 deposit instead of paying $600 and catching 0 fish.

Don’t forget your sunscreen and secure your hats when traveling fast. Bring lots of water and ice!
