Texas Amberjack Fishing Charters

You'll be fishing in the Galveston Channel and around the Galveston jetties for 4.5 hours. You'll search for Trout, Redfish, Drum, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, sharks, and Bull Red. The trip starts at 6:00 a.m. and finishes at 10:00 a.m., but the starting time is negotiable.

Our extended jetty trip targets Trout, Redfish, Drum, Sheepshead, and Flounder.

This will be a half day trip starting at 6 am. This half day trip will take you miles offshore where you will target Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Kingfish, and Cobia. Please check with the captain if there is an extra fuel surcharge for offshore trips.

Weather permitting 8-hour trips can go 30+ miles offshore to the 'rocks' or natural banks. Here a variety of reef fish can be caught such as Amberjack, Almaco Jack, Vermillion, Grey, Lane, and Red Snapper as well as many others. Trolling these areas during summer months can produce all the major pelagic species including but not limited to Mahi Mahi, Billfish, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Kings.

Ten hours gives us the freedom to go further, fish longer, and stay on productive spots without watching the clock. We can bounce between rigs, chase the bite, and make the most of the day. This trip is about putting in the time where it counts. More drops, more fights, more chances to hook into quality fish. It's a full-day grind — in the best way possible.

Snapper season is here! This is the perfect trip to go out and catch your own delicious Red Snapper, a delicacy everywhere along the coast and beyond! These hard fighting fish always make an exciting trip. We use a various techniques which include drifting, trolling, and jigging. While we primarily target Snapper on this trip, we may also reel in Kingfish and other 'bonus' species like Cobia, Mahi Mahi and Triple Tail. We typically fish multiple spots and run up to 60 miles offshore of Galveston.

We will leave the dock the evening before the 20-hour trip and expect to return between 8–10 PM. Captain Robert holds a Coast Guard 100-ton Master Captain license and has been fishing the Gulf for 24 years. Our deckhand will assist you with boarding, your gear, and getting your bedding set up. The ride out will take approximately 5–7 hours, and we will begin fishing as soon as we reach the ideal location. We strive to put fish in the cooler and provide an unforgettable experience.
