Texas Amberjack Fishing Charters

Head out first thing in the morning to catch the early bite of a range of exciting and delicious fish in Texas' productive inshore waters. Spend at least 5 hours on the water, going after Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, Mackerel, Catfish, Shark, and many more tough-fighting species. Using light tackle, you'll get the most out of your time aboard, and each of the beauties will test your skills to the max. Live bait is available at the customer's expense.

Our extended jetty trip targets Trout, Redfish, Drum, Sheepshead, and Flounder.

This will be a half day trip starting at 6 am. This half day trip will take you miles offshore where you will target Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Kingfish, and Cobia. Please check with the captain if there is an extra fuel surcharge for offshore trips.

Weather permitting 8-hour trips can go 30+ miles offshore to the 'rocks' or natural banks. Here a variety of reef fish can be caught such as Amberjack, Almaco Jack, Vermillion, Grey, Lane, and Red Snapper as well as many others. Trolling these areas during summer months can produce all the major pelagic species including but not limited to Mahi Mahi, Billfish, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Kings.

Go bottom fishing for Snapper and Grouper and if time allows troll for King Mackerel. This is a great trip for families and kids, an action-packed fishing fun! You'll have an excellent opportunity to experience offshore fishing without a long boat ride. An 8-hour Snapper trip for up to 4 anglers, with opportunities to catch other species like Drum along the way. Price: $2,150 for 4 people. Additional anglers: $150 each, up to 6 people total.

Embark on a fantastic near shore fishing adventure departing from Galveston! This trip, bait included, takes about 60 min to reach our first site. We may troll a few lines on the way to some of the artificial reefs and rigs in the area, as well as some other, sunk wrecks, and oil rigs along the way. This is excellent trip to get feet wet for offshore trips. Spend at least 4-6 hours fishing on-sites, then enjoy a swift return back to Galveston Yacht Marina.
