Def bring sunscreen or be a seasoned angler who’s out in the sun a lot. The boat is impeccable! Very great gear and you can tell Capt Tom takes care of his equipment! Lots of shade on the boat.

I know every time you go you are not guaranteed to catch a fish. We did, but would have loved to reel in a few more. We caught one big boy.

Yes. Renee will take care of you. The fish were not biting for us, but Renee will surely guide any rookie through the motions when the time comes.

Seems like mornings might be better, cooler water temps have an advantage based on conversation with the Captain.

Just remember it is called fishing and not "catching". The experience is about more than just what you caught.

Be patient! These guys work hard to get you as many fish as possible! A lot of people say the ocean and waves are rough but we didn’t think it was bad for being the ocean:)

Be prepared if you have know or unknown motion sickness. Take the necessary precautions! However, the captain was great for assisting!

Fishing overall was not great, no bites and no fish. I know fishing is hit or miss but this was a big miss.

This is outside the peak fishing season for Aruba. However, they are still out there catching fish every day. Sometimes it's just luck of the draw.

I would highly recommend taking this boat for your next character. My wife and I had a fantastic trip and I can't say enough for my appreciation for captain Renee.

Just relax and enjoy the boat ride! It’s fishing and to catch a monster is always a possibility and we did! Rinse your catch in salt water and try blackened yum!!

Open water fishing does require patience. We ended up with a good catch, 5 quality fish over a 6 hour period. That's why it's called fishing, not catching ?

Go with an experienced crew, they will try their best to find the fish. The moon matters, if it was full the night before, the fish might not be as hungry in the morning because they ate at night.

Look at the boat, and if it looks old, it is! Check fishing report. If most of the boats are at the pier there is a reason, NO Fish

Did two trips, one was bad, other fair....not sure October is ideal fishing in Aruba despite what seems to be conventional thought that its a relatively good season.

Several popular species are out of season to varying degrees (wahoo, billfish) but plentiful Mahi give enough action to make. Plus you still have a chance to pick up a sailfish or wahoo, plus others.

Other times of the year you can go to the other side of the island and catch sailfish. Would prefer to do that
