Two micro tuna were caught and three of us never got to touch a pole. Do not book during early October, save your money
Joel Neubeck
It’s going to be very very hot out there. And it is probably going to be pretty nautical in terms of waves. Plan accordingly.
Edward Tripp
July has warm water close to shore so some of the fish the prefer cooler water are less prevalent than in fall and winter
Shaun Miller
Several popular species are out of season to varying degrees (wahoo, billfish) but plentiful Mahi give enough action to make. Plus you still have a chance to pick up a sailfish or wahoo, plus others.
Jeremy Lebeau
Be prepared for windy conditions as it is always windy in Aruba take sunscreen, and everything else was provided for us was a great trip
Lindsay Condelli
Bring a prescription sea sick patch or take Dramamine the night before and morning of the trip! Bring sun tan lotion, and a hat if possible. Wear a long sleeve fishing shirt.
Sheri Stanfill
Other times of the year you can go to the other side of the island and catch sailfish. Would prefer to do that

Not good. The waters were rough. The Captain of her boat was not nice on Edge and his son was the Mate and had no idea what he was doing. The lines kept getting tangled. Not a good experience.
Jeff Deangelis
It's a boat. Aruba has high winds so the water can be rocky. If you're unsure of getting sick I'd suggest taking seasick medicine ahead of time.
Matt Cowgill
Maybe not all species are hitting but a lot are. One boat landed a handful of wahoo and tamed a sailfish which are typically scarce this time of year.

Caught two nice fish, but in very high swells. Some other boats from the Marina had to turn back as their guests got seasick

Fishing has a lot to do with luck and experience. Make sure you get the Captain that regularly runs the boat, not a fill in

Fishing had been slow so the fact that we were about to haul in some fish was nice. No real big ones but we have have big ones in the past!
Paul Melville
Fishing had been slow and alot of boats had not caught any in the last few days but got to reel in 19 Bonita!
Chris Shores
Pretty windy rough seas. Trolling for four hours produced one fish and saw several other boats trolling and not catching much. Probably would have been better off drop fishing
Ryan Walling
Pick Dorothy, they we’re ready to go right away and we had fun weather just a little breezy but it’s normal this time of year my understanding ?
Chris Bettencourt
Fishing is Fishing! Get your rod hrs in. Don't expect to much. It's all about right place right time!
Robert Blessum
Don’t get your hopes up too high. Fishing is better at certain times of the year. Be happy with any fish you catch ?
Eric Umphrey
Research when the preferred season is for the fish you want to catch. Otherwise you'll have to get lucky.

Fishing is good this time of year but with the water temperature being at its warmest, it can be hit or miss.

Bone fishing was good and easily accessible. Caught bones and Blue Runners on the flats near downtown.
Glenn Eberhardt
Although the fishing is a little slow this time of year, I would definitely recommend this captain and crew. Definitely worth the money

November and December are the best times if you are coming to Aruba to fish. For those coming for other purposes, adding a fishing trip is always great.

Winter months are supposedly much better but seas are much rougher. Swells were 8-10 feet in June. Our guide said swells could be upwards of 20 feet in winter months. Something to consider

Suntan lotion, a hat, and be prepared for potentially rough water (Choppy and rollers - it's the wind, right)
Jeff Viens

Call the company first to find what is better at the time. AM or PM fishing. Certain times are better for a specific fish depending if you are looking to catch.

Sometimes target fish aren’t running when you’re here . Try to plan your trip when your target fish are known to be active in aruba. Search for charters before your trip and ask questions.

Pack a few snacks and tell the Capt. What you want to do. I personally hate offshore trolling so we stayed inshore and picked away at bottom fish.

Captains stories and humor made up for fishes lack of appetite. Not their fault. But thank them profuciously as the Weems Sisters are now oil tankers tycoons! Would go again without a d doubt.
