We didn't fish Playa del Carmen it was Puerto Adventuras. Ask your hotel to arrange it then hopefully health and safety will be observed.

March is typically slower fishing for sailfish, Marlin, etc. The bottom fishing was decent.

prepare to get wet and if you get sea sick then make sure you take gravel. its rough out there.

The port you sail from has a sea weed problem but look and smell past that. It’s well worth it.
