Be prepared for the heat. It’s even hotter out on the water this time of year, so drink plenty of water ahead of time. Mid morning temps were in the 90s.

Gary Hollo
Be prepared for the heat and motion. Bring plenty of liquid to keep you hydrated. Other than that enjoy the trip.

William George
Ben’s top on the line. He’s on top of everything and great with the kids and everyone. He’s ? a go to guy.

Steven Burchfield
Captain is very nice and boat is great. Didn’t catch any keeper fish though. For the money paid wasn’t worth it.

Mike Garlanger
Just do it! There’s more than just fishing when you’re out there. We saw dolphins, sea turtles, birds diving for fish, lots of jellyfish, etc.

Jason Plant
I would recommend fishing in orange beach, in the hotter months I would definitely recommend morning times. For one reason it’s cooler and the fishing is better.

Payne Painter
Be flexible. This job is difficult for the captains. Not only do they have to put you on the fish, they have to keep you safe and entertain you. Have fun and make the most out of everything!

Karen Kugler
We’ve been in orange beach in aha gust before and the mackerel were a bit bigger then they are in June.

Luke Spielman
Bring sunblock or a sun shirt, snacks, drinks, and a cooler for your drinks. Bring an extra shirt incase you get caught in the rain!

Edward Marshburn
Ask about live bait......and what the goal is......
Catching a limit of barely legal fish just isn't my cup of tea

Rob Culver
Take plenty of water. Take motion sickness drugs the night before you and and eight before to help avoid sickness. Bring a good cooler for your catch.

Howell Foster
Select your captain carefully, and educate yourself about the rules and what’s in season.

MCHELE BATTLE
Bring water and sunblock! Scopolamine patch for anyone that gets motion sickness.

Jarrod Tipton
It is always really hot in July, But having an air conditioned cab is a game changer

Walter Jones
Check out the reviews and understand who the captain is and how they are ranked.

Victor Lopez
Captain Kyle was great. My kids didn’t even have to bait their poles. He took great care of us

Crystal Wilkey
Captain Tom took care of everything all we had to bring was ourselves and snacks :)

Mike Maloy
Bring an ice chest with drinks and snacks. Our crew always takes dramamine so nobody gets sick.

Ricky Hatcher
Book a charter that has a cabin with air conditioning like the Mad Hatter. It gives you a chance to take break and cool off when it gets hot. Results in a more enjoyable experience.

Logan Miller
I recommend not booking a trip right after it rains if you can, it was still a blast and I fully recommend going but the water can be very muddy and you can’t see good from the rain.

Allie Rawson
Bring snacks and drinks with you. If you’re unsure if you will have sea sickness take precautions before your trip.

Cliff Roberts
He hid us under the bridge and out of the rain on a less than perfect weather day. Job well done. Get the word of customers on your guide.Performance matters.

Aleta Hill
My husband and the rest of the men that partook of the fishing trip are still talking about their experience.

Jimmy D Kennedy
It’s HOT. But not unbearable bc you always have a breeze. Bring sunscreen & possibly a fishing shirt! (Long sleeve & breathable). I eventually even covered my legs with a towel!

Brian Schremp
You can't always guarantee you will catch a fish or a keeper but pick a captain that will do his best to at least get a fish on the line. Captain Tim Triplett is your guy.

Jennifer Blankenship
We had a blast! Be prepared to drop and reel ‘em up steady, as our captain on High Cotton knew exactly where the fish were. Everyone was able to catch fish!

Nathan Way
Great time catching multiple species!! Moved around to try multiple locations and found the bite. Very fun and enjoyable trip.

Tad Cobert
Early May Maybe? We had stormy weather so off shore was rough but we caught fish, only small ones in shore as rain rolled in

Robert Hull
Listen to Captains advice, these guys live here and have done it for years they know whats going on. Have realistic expectations, there is a reason its call fishing not catching.

Brian Kreh
If you fish on the Mad Hatter you will catch fish - take them to Docs and have them cook it up for you!
