Best fishing trip ever!! We all caught our limits, the captain and first mate were absolutely on it! They knew where the fish were and kept everyone busy. Such a fun day for our group of 6, including the kids. We couldn’t have had a better trip.

(SHARK FISHING - Half day trip)

    Good fishing day

So in total we had one shark and two stingrays. We lost another shark after he jumped and another one circled the boat very long but didn‘t bite. Also a lot of Dolphins around the boat and we caught a needle fish. Can recommend this trip.

Mako Shark fishing is all about speed, power, and excitement. Anglers target this apex Shark for blistering runs and jaw‑dropping jumps. It is a true game fish that rewards good planning, steady nerves, and strong teamwork.

You will usually target Makos with offshore fishing or deep sea fishing. Captains often chum to lay a scent trail that draws Sharks to the boat. Drift fishing and slow trolling are common. Live or cut bait like Mackerel, Bonito, or Squid works well. Heavy tackle, wire leaders, and strong reels are standard. Many crews use circle hooks, which help with safe hookups and releases.

Expect a focused, high-energy trip with long runs and careful boat handling. Fights can be fast and heavy, so listen closely to your crew. This trip suits experienced anglers and confident first-timers who want a challenge. Bring sun protection, a hat, and non-slip shoes. Pack layers, water, and snacks. If you get seasick, consider motion medicine. Crews provide safety briefings and will guide proper handling and release when required.

Before you go, check local rules for Mako Shark fishing. You may need a fishing license or special Shark permit. Some areas have specific seasons, gear rules, and release requirements. Bag and size limits vary by location. Your captain will help you follow current regulations and best practices.
