Do not use dream catcher charter and do your own research in what fish are in season.
Don’t hesitate to question the captain especially after spending $1200 and only taking home 2 fish.
Ridiculous!!
Rod Ross
Check to know what they are catching and know the limits for instance we only had 2 people and were catching Red Snapper so we could only keep 2 fish a piece… Alabama really needs to look at that limit and adjust.
Joanna Bridges
Captain Dave did a very good job putting us on sharks! His deckhand Dylan was very knowledgeable and their good luck charm Sushi stole the show. Book apex charters you will not be disappointed and you will have a very good time. We had two newbies and they loved it. He is the “Real Shark Whisperer”
Daniel Dotson
Stormy weather approaching made the water quite rough. It was easy to get to our charter and it was a short boat drive to our fishing spot, but if you can plan ahead of time definitely consider water conditions. Overall, it was good.
Nic De Castro
Yes, first-time anglers would enjoy it. You're very close to a lot of great fishing, so you don't have to be running 50 miles off shore. Lots of different species you can catch and have fun relatively close to shore.
Paul Reaux
Awesome that we were able to catch and keep red snapper. Glad the season was open on this trip. We have taken many charters in the past and every time it seemed that snapper season was closed. This time was open.
Scott McCrory
Do a little homework with conditions and prime fishing times of the day. These can usually be answered by messaging your Captain. I've had successful fall charters in the past, but mother nature has her own rules.
Eric Yarbrough
Check the weather, we went on a cooler morning so the fish did not start biting until later, so maybe consider an afternoon trip instead of early morning. We were down in early October so I think the weather changing and the full moon affected some of the fishing. However the Captain was great and did everything he could in the 3hrs we had to get us some fish. He was not the only Captain that was having issues with catching fish this trip.
Chad Boardwine
A knowledgeable captain is very helpful. Our trip was originally planned to be near shore on the rigs, but at the last minute Hurricane Milton resulted in a small craft advisory for offshore/near shore vessels. Our captain was able to adjust and put us on fish inshore, and we had a great time.
Chris Hamilton
Listen to the captain and crew, they know what to do. Just remember to are battling mother nature and you will not always win. Captains will do there best to provide you with a great experience, but fish don't always bite.
Albert Cervantes
Patience and trust. The guides know what they are doing and enjoy doing it! If you aren’t catching in one spot, you will move on to the next. Remember that your guides cannot determine what the fish will do that given day, but will do their absolute best to get you some fish to reel in. The price is worth it!
Chris Byers
Know your group. Know what they are wanting to experience. A two hour trip isn't about getting trophy fish they can take that to reel in. It is about positive family and newbie experiences, catching fish, and having fun.
Cody Mosley
Listen to your Captain. They're the pros, take their advise. They don't know your skill level at the time you depart the marina so they will likely start with loose drags and coaching. Don't take offense, don't get arrogant. They'll soon figure out you know how to cast and reel in fish.
James Quinn
I went with the 2 hour, beginning type trip, and it was great, I would like the longer trip next time!
Steve Henrichs
If your looking for a terrific charter, call Captain Tim with Easy Livin Charters.
Wesley Martin
The fish may be spooked by this time of the year and are a little bit harder to get to take the bait, but if you have a good Captain he can still find a way to hook them
Jeffrey Larou
do a bit more research and talk with the captain ahead of time before booking to find out what the fishing conditions are like

The captain was great with our 5 year old grandson and made his first fishing trip very memorable.
Stephanie Waldron
Absolutely!! Everyone is so friendly and answers every question you have. This was our 2nd time fishing out of Fort. Morgan.
Brian Nichols
Fort Morgan is a great location to go fishing from because you are closer to a lot of the wrecks and oil rigs, so more fishing time. I would recommend using NiCole Fishing Charters
Donald Mckenzie
Caught some good fish. 5 different species and the boats around us were catching some other species also.
Betty Wadkins
Take the inshore 3 hour trip if you’ve never salt water fished before. It was fun and just the right amount of time on the water. And, book with Jordan for your captain.
Deric Franks
Booked a trip with off the hook charters. Very reasonable rates and excellent staff. Sawyer, was our captain and is very knowledgeable of the area and where the fish ate.
Tim Johnson
Wear water clothes, possible pop up showers, possible rough seas. Know what is bitting so you can work with the Capt to modify your trip
Drew Williams
Absolutely! I don’t wanna fish with anyone else! MSC is the pinnacle of charter and sport fishing!

Bring a UV shirt, a hat, some beer, and some Tylenol for the muscles you're going to be working out.
Chris Alkire
Be prepared for a personal family-like atmosphere on the fishing boat with great ease of parking and less congestion than at other fishing marinas.
Eric Skocelas
Really enjoyed the nearshore fishing. We caught a lot of fish and had a good day on the water. Can’t wait until next time.
