El Budster prides itself on the customer and exercises great care towards the safety of the client. Initially questions are asked of the type of fish seeking to be caught and will try his best to accommodate.

I do not recommend fishing in Cabo for young children under 12. It can be graphic and there is alot of commotion and yelling at times. If you have a child that is not prepared for this, i would not recommend. Our kids loved it, but at moments our daughter had trouble emotionally but that is part of fishing.

This particular charter boat was older and well worn, it was not told to us but the fishing was Off season, we had an inexperienced captain who did not prepare the boat or the bait before we arrived.

You get to relax and enjoy all the cool experiences that you typically do not see. From the sunrise boat ride, to the arches, to getting bait, to watching other boats. Very cool. I am happy I did it. I recommend.

GET DOUBLE THE BAIT. GET YOUR LICENCE THE DAY BEFORE. TRY TO ENJOY THE BEAUTY OF THE LANDSCAPE AS MUCH AS YOU FOCUS ON THE FISH. THEY ALWAYS BITE WHEN YOU'RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO THE LINES. TIP YOUR CAPTAIN AT LEAST 20%. HE IS A MASTER.

Make sure you don’t get seasick and if there’s a chance - do the patch or Dramamine because if you’re sick, the days a bummer for everyone else if you have to come in early so don’t ruin the trip!

La Paloma is a solid choice, not fancy, totally worth the money for the charter. This is a great captain and crew, very experienced. These guys are pros. English is pretty good. Bathroom on the boat. Comfortable place to lounge on the boat, inside if preferred. If I had known the fish mount would be made from a template, not my fish, I would have let it go. Would have been nice to know. We did have a couple of nice Marlin dinners.

This was our first trip to Cabo, the support was very helpful to get to marina and find boat and get fishing licenses. Captain and crew were great to talk with and made it a very enjoyable 2 days fishing.

Take your time and get reviews or meet your captains and crew before you book. Everyone around the marina is trying to sell you a trip and it’s hard to know what you might get through these brokers.

I would hopefully get to know or know someone who has first hand knowledge on if the fish you want to catch are currently being caught before booking your chartered trip. The graphs that you check online don’t mean they are truly biting when in season/time frame. It has to do with weather pattern, water temps. And color of the water (green/blue) on the day. Our take on it. Book your chartered trip day before or same day that you plan to go out. There are plenty of charters in Cabo, you will always find one to take you out.

Don't get caught up by all the shady people offering to help you 9 out of 10 people you cross paths with before getting to boat on the dock are shaking you down for money .. presenting them selves to be representatives of your trip.. k ow your captains name and name of the boat... head straight to it and do not stop...

I would look for recommendations from people who have used a guide many different times. Fishingbooker has been good for only 1 trip out of 3 for us. The other two were skunks. I would suggest finding someone on the net that has personal experience with their favorite guide. I have one at home that I recommend to everyone looking to catch fish. Do some research and find that person who would recommend their guide.

We could not have imagined a better deep sea fishing experience! In 5 hours we caught 3 Mahi Mahi, a sail fish and a huge marlin! These guys knew exactly where to go and what to do. They made the entire trip amazing for our first time deep sea fishing. What a wonderful family experience and we cannot imagine not booking the Blue Tail for any future deep sea excursion in Cabo!! Thank you guys!!!!!!

This trip was really good. About 30-40 minute transit to fishing grounds. We got a big striped marlin right away and lost one. It went quiet for a bit but then we got into a bunch of smaller tuna. Neat to see them jumping and so many dolphins. Our crew then put out a fishing balloon. It attracted larger tuna. We got a few 30’s, 2 50 plus and one over a 100 pounds. Really good day. Tired from reeling. I like the larger boat with AC so you can cool off if needed. Good times.

Avoid!!!!!! Horrible experience! Captain was not even the Captain on the boat. Did not honor the reservation terms and contract. We got off the boat and did not go fishing. Totally disrespectful and untrustworthy.

This was my first time in Cabo too. I booked on the boat Blue Fin, they exceeded my expectations. Let these guy arrange your to and from your resort. If your are like me and bring your wife or girlfriend, ask them to give you a couple of hours of shopping time at the Marina area after the boat gets back. Other than that set back and relax because you will be treated well and this

Listen to your deck hand and Captain on how to land your fish. They know the ropes. Be prepared to take about an hour of constant strain to land a nice Marlin, and don’t quit. Consider releasing your catch alive. Instruct other guests to video and photograph the fight and catch. Opportunity of a lifetime and WELL worth the money. Enjoy

The Communication was excellent. The parking as advertised can be difficult. We scouted out the night before, so we were able to find a spot quickly in the morning and walk down to the marina on time.

Watch out for street vendors!. 4th day paid full day but got 1/2 day. Promised to take us to place opposite direction. Took us right back to area without fish instead of opposite direction as promised before payment. Same result no strikes.

Don't expect to go out with the Captain you talked to on the phone or that you messaged with. In Cabo, the captain assigns an open boat for you to go out with. Captain was qualified and knowledgeable, just not the advertised Captain.

Book these guys!! We think depending on the age of the children x the behavior of the children it would definitely be appropriate but it is not a trip I personally would bring my toddler or baby on. If you have food allergies or are picky, bring a cooler with snacks and drinks that you like - we did ;-)

Book with Juan & Freddy, and catch some fish, other boats had caught nothing and we caught 2 sail fish and 2 marlin in a matter of a few hours. We were so wore out with all the action we were ready to dock early. Remember it’s called fishing not catching. But with the right caption and crew you are more likely to catch some nice fish. We had a great time. Book the right crew, We had many choices but so glad we booked with Juan & Freddy.

I would not use FishingBooker. I wouldn’t use them because what is advertised is not always what you receive. The “Captains” featured on the listings are only the coordinators or brokers who schedule any random Captain that is available for the day so you have no idea what you will get. Reading the reviews for a particular outfit doesn’t help cause you may not get that Captain/ crew. And who you get determines if you have a hardworking crew who is motivated to get you on fish. Instead of using FishingBooker.com go to the marina at noon and see what boats return with slot of fish then approach those boats and ask them directly with you the next day or later in the same week.

Fish on a new moon from September through October. Book in advance. Get double the live bait from the boats and be sure to find out exactly what species are biting what because when it's busy the baitboats will try to offload whatever is not in high demand. Get your license online the night before. Do not wait till the morning of. Leave earlier than you think you need because there's always some point of delay in the early morning. Getting out of the harbor before the other boats is your best bet for a lot of action in the busy season.

If you want to go fishing on your Cabo vacation, don't sweat the details. We didn't expect to catch a Blue Marlin, but when we did, the team of people around the dock assisted in every way they could. If I have one bit of advice, bring extra cash to tip the helping hands. This includes the person helping get the fish to the place where it will be cleaned and cut up in to fillets ($20). Fish cleaning will be dependent on the number of fish caught, but quite reasonable ($30). Of course tip the crew as suggested by Fishing Booker as well. Enjoy!

Review, review, review! Charters like to nickel and dime you. You pay for charter but that doesn't include food or water. Then when you get to the boat ramp they like to charge you to walk down the ramp to get on the boat. Once on the water they stop to pick up bait and ice which you are expected to pay. Reel Taquila experience was NOT like this but every other charter has hit us up with these hidden fees. We're hoping this company has larger boats to avoid breathing diesel fumes and getting ill.

Read all the reviews of the boats listed on the site. We thought that a larger boat might be better equipped to handle the swells (which it did) but upon return, some of the smaller vessels actually caught more fish and marlin which we were hoping for. We understand that marlin are in towards Dec. & Jan. Nevertheless, this is my second time going personally and cannot wait to go back next year! You will not be disappointed. The people are wonderful in Cabo

It's hard for me to call it for you accurately because there is a Category 5 Hurricane a few hundred miles off the coast (I obviously didn't plan on that 4 months ago when I booked this vacation) it's been pushing 10 and 12 ft waves in on the beach and once we got out to the fishing grounds fortunately they were a couple secs apart but 8 ft nonetheless. I'd like to try it again under different circumstances. I catch and land a Black Marlin and a few Chicken Mahi but were only last about 3 hrs on the water cause it was just too rough.
