Be flexible on what you expect to catch. Conditions change throughout the year. I’m told October thru December is marlin season.

Jarod Tuck
Just be patient and have a great attitude, it don’t matter where you’re fishing you must be patient and just enjoy the time on the water, the fish will come.

Chad Collier
Great time and fishing was a little slow due to cooler temps and full moon but the experience was too notch!

Steve Bon
Fishing in Cabo is fantastic. I would highly recommend fishing in Cabo at anytime of the year. I have caught many trophy fish there on my various fishing trips.

Mark Berry
Conditions were windy and rough, nothing that the crew or captain could control. Under the right conditions this crew would do awesome!

Jim Noblitt
Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat! If winter fishing a Jacket! It gets colder than you might expect!

Joseph Rahn
Fishing is slow here in January especially when the water is cold like it is, but the whales are here and it’s nice to get out and away during the cold months from up north.

Brian Foster
January is great time for Cabo. We saw multiple whales and dolphin pods. Even saw Marlins (but didn’t catch one)

Paul Buie
Make sure you know what’s in season before you book your trip, especially if you are after Marlin.

Albert Wasko
Dress warm for the cool/cold early morning. Be patient as the crew reallly tries very hard to find the right location for getting the fish!

Scott Johnson
Be prepared for possibility of colder weather. Don’t expect big sport fish when the water gets colder but you can still catch lots of fish and have a good day on the water.

Debbie Vega
If you really want to fish, definitely book a full day of fishing so that you are able to really go offshore.

Michael Woodfield
Book with Capt Gilbert &
First Mate Joel with Cabo Fishing sportfishing
Was outstanding! They know where this fish are, how to catch and make sure it’s a fabulous adventure!

Adam Reyes
Whales breaching throughout the morning . So much that we went back during the day with our daughters . 2-3 on this boat . Small older bit no issues

Fred Robertson
No need to spend $800 to go fishing and catch big fish. If you're ok with a smaller boat, the value is fantastic with Juan and his crew!

Wendy Jones
Rest assured that the crew is going to do everything possible to make your day the best possible fishing trip.

Daniel Kay
Book a whole day if you want Tuna have to go out quite far for it. Leaves plenty of time to Marlin fish.

Darren Jopka
Book it. It’s a fun day on the water even if you don’t catch fish. You get to see the arch, coast line, whales and sea lions.

Daniel Cuellar
Boat captain was lazy, he took us for a boat ride not a fishing trip.
We got scammed
Just drove around and they never worked the lines. Beware of Cabo Fishing scams

Sara Barry
Be patient! Things change from day to day, and it really is worth it to do 8 hours instead of a half day to increase your chances.

Ryan Harlow
Not a bite! TERRIBLE- No explanation or conversation for entire trip by the crew who ignored us. Five adults and we never even touched a rod, never mind caught a fish! Very expensive boat ride.

Paul Asterlin
If you’re looking to catch something let the crew know you want tuna or something else. Personally I’d rather catch something than the fish I really want. Action is the juice for me.

David Dzuba
Yes I would recommend that they book a charter for the first time then if they wanted to go out again to speak with the crew about fishing again to see if you can get a better price for the charter.

Rudy Rodriguez
El budster pride works hard to put fish and the deck..been on this boat 3 times and caught fish each time..won't go on any other boat

Tony Delmonte
It’s a great value for your money. Easy to get to the head and cabin . Didn’t he to go more than a few miles before we caught fish. Started fishing right out outside of the arch.

Adam Henry
Be prepared for a big day and bring sunscreen
If your lucky enough to catch a marlin it’s a lot of work so be prepared to pull up a little bit sore the next day ( although worth every minute )

Randy Savageau
Our experience was slow. Weather to blame. Just to hot for this time of year. Will try again another year.

Jim Barnett
Be prepare to catch a nice fish or two, but if you are going for Marlin, do not expect to catch several. Instead, be prepared to catch 1-3 if you are going for a half-day trip

Kyle Sharp
Yes! We had a great time! Juan and Javier were excellent and we will definitely book again on our next trip!

Joshua Arnold
Contact your captain prior to booking, as some species are better caught in certain months. Striped marlin seem to be good all year long here. Buena suerte!
