What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur for the first time?

The price advertised is for the boat, not per individual. So, if you can find someone else to join you, you can split the cost.

Bring a sweater or sweatshirt for the first hour or two. It can be pretty chilly. Hat and sunglasses. Bring a smile and crew takes care of the rest.

Check with your Captain before booking your trip to make sure that you get the experience that you expect! They are there to help you.

You might not catch what you want due to the seasons of the fish but it was a great experience and the crew was badass. I will be trying to reserve another trip with Jose and Javier.

Check with someone before booking as to whether it is a good fishing season. We were told it was good for Marlin, but then also told that September is the best. We went in June.

These type of operators aren’t settup to do multiple techniques, so if you book, know you’ll be getting one type of fishing - 90% trolling

Make sure you take something for sea sickness prior to going out even if you you think you have good sea legs.

Check the moon phase table and bring a soft cooler and sweatshirt. Normally see whales that time of year.

Don’t fret about little things the crews there are professionals and if you’re missing something they will get for you.

We missed the big Mahi Mahi catch but was able to enjoy some marlin action instead. Great day on the water

Stripped marlin were our intended target and we were not disappointed. We landed 8 marlin in 4 days and will be returning to do this again!

Don't get drunk the night before if you think you MIGHT GET SEA SICK. SUNBLOCK AND SUNSCREEN ESSENTIAL

The fishing was good in May. I have previously fished in Cabo San Lucas in January and that was better but May was also good.

Great weather and some of the fish were biting. Not sure if you would come away with a trophy as I'm not expert, but you'll come away with something to eat and show, for sure.

Know what is in season and what is biting while you are in town. It will help with your expectations heading in to the day.

Fishing when the water is warmer will help you find the fish you’re looking for. It’s is whales and fishing then come on down in March!

Big boats targeting Marlin means fishing all day for that one bite. I have much more rewarding trips on pangas, more fish and a good experience.

Use fish Booker when looking to book a trip be careful there are a lot of people at the marina trying to sell fishing trips

The seas are normally not calm. I recommend a larger craft for anyone with small children or sea sickness. I recommend the 8 hour charter for anglers interested in catching multiple species or a lot of fish

It is best to book an 8hour trip, if possible, to have more time to catch in case its a little slow. You can always go in early...but had we only been on a short trip, we would not have time to catch that 2nd marlin. Sometimes fishing is great but I think it was a bit slow because of the weather, but it was a great time!

Captain Tony’s restaurant is a “you hook em, we cook em” restaurant, right at the marina. Take your fillet to the restaurant, they’ll cook your fish on the spot. We enjoyed fresh fish tacos on the same day.

Captain louis and Anthony are really awesome. Caught 12 Dorado and they wouldn't quit till we caught fish. We caught 9 mahi one morning and they shut down the port and had to quit early because of wind. They offered to take us out again to get our full day finished and we we caught three more huge Dorado. They are very easy going and go to any length to get you your fish.
