Check the wind and be advised the best Marlin fishing is done in October and November

Take dramamine. The first time I went, I got so seasick. This time, the dramamine did the trick!

Fishing is slow in March because water temps are cool , but as water warms fishing is great

Get the best boat you can afford!!! Cheap doesnt get it here in February, if you want fish!

Bring sunscreen and a big hat and we preferred the all inclusive for the fishing.

End of March was still cold for catching anything. Although we were still successful!

Book a full day trip and try to book in a month that has better fishing than February.

Don’t go thinking you will catch lots of fish. It’s fishing. Some days good some days bad. Just go in and hope the fish work with you. Captain will put on miles if needed.

Josh Peeling
Definitely a great time to fish for Marlin! They were leaping around us and tons of boats around us had them on the line.

Make sure you take steps to avoid motion sickness. Weather was great, but large swells. You don't want your trip ruined by a qweezy stomach.

The marina is very large with a couple different docks and entrances. Make sure you know which side to go to before your taxi droops you off.

Do not book online. Wait until you get to Cabo and book with your hotel. The often offer big discounts. They also also know the reputable fishing guides to book with.

Be ready for the heat and sun because you will get a lot of both. No matter what is advertised bring extra water for sure and snacks if you desire them and be ready to pay for bait.

We had a great time heading out for 5 hours. The boat was really clean and comfortable with room to relax. We saw dolphin and a sea turtle as well as catching the tuna we were hoping to catch.

Enjoy the moment! If you catch something, great!!! Remember, you are not guaranteed to catch a fish. First time out and I caught a 10 ft blue marlin. Awesome!!!

Go to the marina first and then ask questions. There are plenty of boats willing to take you out rather than going online ahead of time and not knowing what you're getting.

Go out to have fun don't expect anything more than to enjoy friends. The fish are just a bonus. We caught 12 today, but Juan made it possible.

Do not fish the spring. Wait until late summer and early fall. Trolled all day and got nothing but a headache!!!!!!

Fish in the spring when the weather is more consistent.... based on other fish catching reports.
