What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur for the first time?

Fishing Cabo in September is one of the best times of the year according to the captain that took me out.

Get ready to have fun! Don't set expectations too high because you never know, but with a little luck you will get something to remember.

If you’re looking for numbers of dolphin, this is a great time of year. Marlin can be tough in the early and mid September. I would wait until October for bills

It is really hot on the boat in Sept even for the morning trips. Dress in light clothing! Bring sunscreen hat, and sunglasses.

Half day is all you need to schedule... only 2 boats oit for the full day. 1 hit in the afternoon.

This is the time of year. Waves are choppy, warmer weather. Went out two different days. One calmer than the next.

Sept might not be the best time. We have had better luck fishing in Oct, but we still have 3 more fishing days left.

Hat , sunglasses, sunscreen, be prepared for rough seas. This boat was all inclusive and provided licence, bait tackle, and also food and beverage.

El Budster is very professional and the want you to get fish. Cleanness boat and restroom, Excellent gear, they know the waters!

Go early. It gets hot about midday. Bring snacks and drinks (they provided water) if going on the 1/2 day trip.

Definitely chose the meco yace! The crew was fabulous. In the fall you can fish while whale watching!

Check the weather and fish reports! I didn’t and took a chance! No harm just spent unneeded money!

Definitely go out on a boat, we have been fishing from the surf but it’s been too rough. And this particular boat and Capt., I thought that an excellent job targeting the fish.

Off-shore pricing is the best value for your money (as opposed to the in-shore option). Usually for just a few hundred $ more you'll be out longer on deeper water with a true shot at a trophy.

Clarification for dock A and A-1. They are different and in completely different places at the marina.

It will be a great day with some fantastic fishing! We have fished at many other locations but Cabo has been the best!

Check the season. We came at a poor time but the caption and first mate still made this a very fun adventure

Do you home work before booking a fishing trip. Like anything else you have the good charters and the ones you wished you never got on.

Bring your own gear and BUY LIVE BAIT to troll while you use lures. Fish heavier gear in Cabo, the seas are rough and the fish are powerful

Sportfishing Capital of the World! June temps in the low 80s, low humidity and cool evenings in the mid 60's.

Look into processing before you go, as you want to be prepared. We were able to get it cleaned and bagged but had to get ice and cooler and find a way to freeze it.

Weather could not be any better and the marine life is really hard to beat Cabo. Couple that with the beauty of the shoreline as you’re headed out and Cabo is one of my favorites!

You may want to wear gloves while fighting the fish. I had a couple of blisters from winding so much! But it was well worth it!

If fishing Black Marlin is a great choice, Manual the skipper found the fish for us and the crew José and Manual, were fantastic as well and very helpful making sure we decked our Marlin

Bring your rain gear because the Pacific side is very windy and very cold. Oh where a hat you can cintch up under your chin!

Target the local experience Fishermen Johnny and Cesar. And early morning is the way I fished in cabo.

Get a smaller locally run boat as opposed to the larger party style boat.The local guys know what's up!
