- 5.0/5(4 Hr Trip – Kids Inshore Fishing)
Highly Recommend!
I wasn’t sure how my three year old would do on a fishing charter, but everything was great! The Capt was really responsive, everything was ready to go when we arrived! The trip was tailored to what my son was comfortable with, and he got to catch some really big fish! They took the time to teach him how to hold the fish, and made the experience really fun for his age! We will definitely book again, and highly recommend, even for the young anglers!

We had a great time.
Ricardo was great, the guy loves what he does and works very hard to ensure things go as they should. We will 100 percent use him again.
About Lemon Shark fishing
Lemon Shark fishing is all about close-quarters action in shallow coastal water. These stocky Sharks are powerful, steady fighters that test your arms and tackle. Anglers target them for strong runs, exciting sight shots, and great photos before release.
You can catch Lemon Sharks while inshore fishing around bays, flats, channels, and mangroves. Common tactics include chumming, which spreads a scented mix to draw fish in, and sight casting baits to cruising Sharks. Guides often use heavy spinning or conventional gear, wire leaders to prevent bite-offs, and circle hooks, which are designed to hook in the corner of the mouth. Natural bait like Mackerel or Bonito works well, and fly fishing can be effective when fish cruise clear shallows.
Expect a controlled, hard pull rather than blistering speed. Fights are close to the boat and perfect for anglers who enjoy steady pressure battles. This suits first-timers, families, and seasoned Shark fans alike. Bring sun protection, polarized sunglasses for spotting fish, and non-slip shoes. Listen to your crew on safe handling and quick release for the fish’s health. Night fishing can also be productive when Sharks feed more actively.
Regulations for Sharks change by location and season. Many areas emphasize catch and release for Lemon Sharks and may have strict rules on harvest. Always check local fishing license and permit needs, along with current season, gear, and harvest regulations before your trip. Your captain will explain the latest rules and best practices on the day.
