With the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge on one side and Matagorda Island forming a barrier with the Gulf of Mexico on the other, San Antonio Bay is in a unique position to provide you with a whole host of fishing possibilities.

As one of the seven big bays on the Texas Gulf Coast, San Antonio Bay is a rich fishery. There’s a variety of fish species that call these waters their home, and you’re sure to have a lot of fun going after them. Go after the “Big Three” – Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder – or just relax and see what ends up on your line. Jack Crevalle, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and Mangrove Snapper are all in the cards as well.

If you’re looking for a fishing charter to take you out and an experienced captain to put you on fish, you’ll have no issues here. You’ll find charters everywhere from Matagorda to Aransas Bay, so just head on down and take your pick!
